Jessica Oliver

I have been teaching for over ten years; the past 3 have been spent in a Year-Round school (we run on a balanced calendar from the beginning of August until mid June).  I currently teach in a second grade classroom.  My classroom is very diverse in terms of academic abilities.  Because of this, differentiation is at the heart of my teaching.  Through engaging activities and a variety of teaching strategies, students are expected to perform at their ability level and take an active part in their learning.  Check out my classroom website at http://turrill.lapeerschools.org/staff_directory/mrs__oliver_s_classroom_page.
